On November 20, 2016, Mitsui Fudosan Realty’s Project Department and International Department held a Malaysia Real Estate Seminar at Tokyo Midtown Conference.
The seminar provided a broad overview of the Malaysian economy, life in Malaysia, taxation, etc.
in addition to an introduction to “The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Sultan Ismail,” a Malaysian property being marketed by Berjaya Corporation Berhad.
The presentations were as follows: “Economic growth of Malaysia and an evaluation of its financial and real estate markets” by Mr. Makoto Saito of NLI Research Institute; “Malaysia long-stay information seminar” by Ms. Mirei Yamada of Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board; and “Taxation on real estate investment in Malaysia” by Mr. Koichiro Ito of Novel International Consulting LLP. Finally,
Ms. Mah Siew Wan of Berjaya who flew from Malaysia for this seminar spoke about the history of
The Ritz-Carlton and an overview of the property.
The Project Department and International Department aim to continue expanding outbound
business.
